The LOCKDOWN Film Competition

Holmfirth Film Festival is planning to return later this year with a full programme of films and events (12-16 November). As part of our plans we are launching a short film competition – The Lockdown - with the best films screened at the Festival.
We are looking for 2-minute (max) quirky, happy, sad, inventive, funny, serious, poignant, colourful, films in any style about living in Lockdown. There will be cash prizes for the best.
You now have lots of spare time to be creative. Let’s see some great films but please no cats, dogs or children - the internet is full of them.

TOP PRIZES in three categories:
STUDENTS OF ALL AGES (registration details) = £TBA
Your Film must be no more than 120 seconds, with sound where possible.
Your file should be 25 fps, 16:9 aspect ratio and exported as h.264 mp4
(Other formats are accepted, if they work, the risk is yours!)  
DEADLINE: 12 noon 01/09/2020
The top 10 shortlisted films will be contacted via email and these animations will be screened at the Holmfirth Film Festival in November 2020 - details to follow on submission.
